The shortcut does not respond

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring and enable PressSpeak. Quit and reopen PressSpeak if macOS asks. F19 is a reliable secondary trigger.

Text is copied but not pasted

Enable PressSpeak in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. You can always paste manually with Command-V.

The microphone is unavailable

Enable PressSpeak in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, then quit and reopen the app.

Transcription

PressSpeak includes its multilingual model. It works offline, detects the language of each recording automatically, and needs no model download or language setting.

If a name or technical term is frequently wrong, add it under Dictation → Names and vocabulary.

Trial and lifetime purchase

The free trial lasts seven days. It asks for no card and cannot renew or charge you. After it ends, Core can be unlocked forever with a one-time $19.99 Apple in-app purchase.

To restore Core Lifetime, open PressSpeak and choose Restore purchase. The Mac must be signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
